The arrival of August bring us the annual Plymouth Community Market. For the next two months on Thursday nights in the town park, conveniently located across the street from Taste, the Community Market will take place from 4pm to 7pm. The Community Market features local produce, locally made items, wine tasting, activities, community information and a picnic meal prepared by a local restaurant. All proceeds from the Market are donated to the Plymouth Elementary. This event is in it's fifth year and is one that many look forward to all summer long! Come on out and join us at the Community Market every Thursday in August and September from 4pm to 7pm. Taste will the featured restaurant this Thursday, August 5.

How does your garden grow?
A few months ago we talked about the Taste garden. Well, we decided to start small and gradually build up the garden as we gained confidence in our ability to keep the plants alive. A few galvanized metal buckets, some dirt and a few easy to grow plants have proven successful. Tomatoes, basil, chives, thyme and rosemary are all flourishing well. Some staff members have proven to have more of a green thumb and interest in the garden which has been a great learning experience. The size of our garden doesn't allow for one dish to exclusively be a by-product but we use it all week long in our dishes. However, we are working with many local growers to provide you with garden fresh produce.

Taste Lunch

It's finally going to happen!!! After years of requests from the wineries and our guests Taste will be serving lunch. Beginning on Saturday, August 14 the dining room will open from 11:30 to 2:00 for Lunch, Taste style. Reservations are suggested. Enjoy fresh seafood, high quality meats and the deliciously crafted desserts along side our excellent selection of wine and beer during lunch. The menu will change seasonally as usual and will be posted on the website.
